About the Role

Kalgin Global Logistics is seeking a talented and driven Solutions Specialist to join our growing Solutions team. This role is central to how we run, support and continuously improve CargoWise — our core operating system — across the Kalgin Group.

You will work closely with branches, teams, clients and suppliers on integration projects, own the ongoing quality and integrity of our operational data, and help support the ERP-linked tools our people rely on day to day. Over time, this role will also play a key part in leading major system initiatives across the business.

The Successful Candidate Will:

- Have strong knowledge of CargoWise forwarding modules.
- Bring strong operational experience in freight forwarding (minimum 2–3 years).
- Have strong problem-solving abilities and excellent attention to detail.
- Demonstrate a track record of finding new and better ways to optimise processes.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Be a self-learner who is adaptable and open to change.




- Enjoy working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- CargoWise certification, or knowledge of advanced CargoWise functions, is an advantage but not required — a willingness to learn and grow your expertise is what matters most.

The Job Involves:

- Managing integration projects with clients and suppliers.
- Developing and maintaining automated workflows and tasks across all branches and teams.
- Supporting ERP-linked products, including long-term support for new solutions rolled out on the ERP.
- Preventing and resolving duplicate organisation records, and training teams to avoid recurrence.
- Monitoring adherence to agreed standard operating procedures to maintain consistent data quality across branches.
- Reporting on data quality and system performance to management.
- Helping develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for CargoWise processes.
- Working with our software providers on current features and ongoing improvements to the systems we use.
- Liaising with our software provider on support tickets, release notes, and testing new system updates before rollout.
- Customising CargoWise documents and reports.
- Leading TMS database merges following acquisitions.
- Supporting the onboarding of new branches and acquisitions onto CargoWise.
- Managing user access,



permissions and security roles within CargoWise.
- Acting as a first point of contact for support queries from across the business, triaging and prioritising requests.
- Providing day-to-day support and training to the team on CargoWise.
- Identifying opportunities to optimise system workflows and configurations to meet business needs.
- Collaborating with the team to experiment with and develop AI-assisted tools and solutions.
- Exploring new technologies and proposing innovative solutions to improve how the business operates.
- Coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT) for new CargoWise functionality and configuration changes.
- Delivering training sessions on new and existing CargoWise functionality and best practices.
- Developing and maintaining user guides, training materials, and FAQ documents.
