We are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to help design and build our organisation's next-generation AI capabilities. In this role, you will translate business needs into secure, scalable, and highly reliable cloud and AI-enabled solutions, working closely with customers, business stakeholders, engineering teams, and senior leaders.

You will bring deep technical credibility together with strong consultative and communication skills, helping the organisation move beyond experimentation to deliver AI and automation initiatives that create genuine, measurable value for customers and the business.

- Define the architecture and roadmap for next-generation AI capabilities across the organisation.
- Partner with customers and stakeholders to understand business challenges, gather requirements, and identify valuable AI and automation opportunities.
- Design cloud-first solutions that meet reliability, scalability, security, compliance, performance, and cost requirements.
- Produce architecture diagrams, solution designs, technical standards, decision records, implementation roadmaps, and governance documentation.
- Lead technical discovery sessions, architecture reviews, workshops, and customer presentations.
- Collaborate with engineering, data, security, cloud, operations, product, and business teams throughout delivery.
- Evaluate AI platforms, cloud services, automation technologies, integration approaches, and build-versus-buy options.
- Define responsible AI, security, privacy, governance, monitoring, and human-oversight requirements.
- Anticipate delivery risks and technical issues, then proactively coordinate their resolution.
- Mentor delivery teams and promote reusable architecture patterns and engineering best practices.




- Ensure AI initiatives deliver measurable customer and organisational value rather than remaining experimental proofs of concept.

Requirements

- More than 8 years of relevant technology experience, including substantial experience in solution or enterprise architecture.
- Proven experience designing highly available, resilient, scalable, secure, and cost-effective systems, primarily in cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, integration patterns, APIs, data platforms, security, observability, disaster recovery, and operational resilience.
- Knowledge of automation tools and practices, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, testing automation, and operational automation.
- Experience identifying opportunities to enable customers and business teams through AI, generative AI, intelligent automation, or machine learning.
- Robust technical foundation with working knowledge of one or more programming or scripting languages.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong client-facing and consultative skills, with experience gathering and clarifying requirements, facilitating workshops, managing stakeholder expectations, and presenting solution recommendations.
