About CCS Supports

CCS Supports is an Adelaide-based disability support provider delivering Supported Independent Living and complex community-based supports.

We support people with complex physical, psychosocial and behavioural needs and are looking for experienced Disability Support Workers who are confident working in high-intensity environments.

About the role

This is not an entry-level disability support role. You will support participants who may require complex personal care, behavioural support, increased supervision, structured routines and active risk management.

You will need to remain calm under pressure, follow participant-specific plans, communicate effectively with your team and respond appropriately when risks or circumstances change.

What you'll be doing

- Providing safe, respectful and person-centred support
- Following Behaviour Support Plans, risk assessments, care plans and participant-specific instructions
- Using positive behaviour support and de-escalation strategies
- Recognising and escalating changes in health, behaviour or risk
- Supporting personal care and daily living needs where required
- Supporting community access, appointments and meaningful activities
- Preparing meals and completing household duties, including cleaning, laundry and dishes
- Maintaining clear skilled boundaries
- Completing accurate progress notes, handovers and incident documentation
- Working collaboratively with Support Workers, House Leads, Case Managers and allied health professionals
- Following CCS Supports policies, NDIS requirements and safeguarding obligations
- Completing participant-specific training and competency assessments.

About you

We are looking for reliable and experienced workers who can work professionally within complex environments.

You will ideally have





- At least three years' experience in disability support
- Experience working within Supported Independent Living
- Experience supporting people with behaviours of concern or complex support needs
- Experience implementing Behaviour Support Plans
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Sound judgement and professional boundaries
- The ability to follow established support strategies consistently
- A genuine willingness to work as part of a team.

A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability Support, Community Services or a related qualification is highly regarded. Relevant experience will also be considered.

Essential requirements

Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid and CPR
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Australian working rights
- Valid Australian driver's licence.

A reliable and appropriately insured vehicle may be required. A Police Check and Working with Children Check may also be required depending on the participant and role.

Availability

Applicants should have flexibility across a rotating roster, which may include day, evening, weekend, public holiday and sleepover shifts.
