PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Lead the development and continual improvement of network and asset reliability practices across regulated network and Indigenous Essential
Services (IES) assets. Provide technical leadership in reliability analysis, performance measurement, asset management and regulatory reporting to support evidence-based investment, maintenance and operational decision making.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The “WHAT” to be delivered
Reliability Strategy
- Lead development and maintenance of the Power Services Asset Reliability Strategy.
- Develop reliability improvement initiatives across network and asset classes.
- Identify emerging reliability risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Network/ Asset Performance
- Develop network and asset performance measures, targets and KPIs.
- Lead analysis of asset condition, performance and failure data.
- Develop reliability models and engineering recommendations to optimise maintenance and capital investment.
- Lead investigations into significant reliability events and recommend improvement actions.
Regulatory Reporting
- Lead preparation and coordination of regulatory reporting including Utilities Commission and AER performance reporting.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and applicable standards.
- Act as steward of reliability data used for regulatory reporting.
- Act as key auditee in regulatory audits for reliability reporting.
Data Governance
- Coordinate reliability information from multiple business units.
- Improve data quality and governance for reliability reporting.
- Develop procedures supporting performance measurement and regulatory reporting.
