Shipment Coordinator
Melbourne – 6 Month Contract | Full-Time | Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm
Are you experienced in supply chain and order management, with a knack for tracking international shipments and delivering accurate, timely updates? This role offers the chance to lead end-to-end shipment visibility across APAC, supporting a critical business function and making a tangible impact on customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do:
- Manage the entire shipment process from release to delivery, ensuring timely updates and stakeholder communication
- Build and maintain a centralised Excel tracker consolidating data from SAP, business unit trackers, and supply chain sources
- Act as the key point of contact between Customer Care, Global Supply Chain, freight providers, and customers
- Identify, investigate and resolve delivery risks, delays, and exceptions proactively
- Collaborate across teams to maintain accurate shipment statuses and manage escalation processes
- Support continuous process improvements, including transitioning the tracker into SAP in future
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in order management, supply chain or logistics, ideally within multinational organisations supporting APAC markets
- Hands-on experience with SAP, including order processing, reporting, and shipment tracking
- Robust Excel skills: pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data reconciliation, large datasets
- Proven ability to coordinate international and domestic logistics, understand customs and freight processes
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- High attention to detail, organisation, and problem-solving ability
This is a site-based role in Mount Waverley, with a focus on managing complex, high-value, international shipments with tight delivery timelines.
