YOUR NEW ROLE
As a valued senior member of the firm, reporting to & being mentored 1:1 directly by a top calibre partner (an industry leading specialist construction/environmental/strata lawyer) you will love primarily litigating (in Superior/Land & Environment Courts & NCAT) on a full spectrum of intellectually stimulating +interesting disputes relating to:

- All types of building and construction disputes (approx 50%) and claims resolution, including adjudication applications, expert determinations, arbitrations and conventional litigation;
- all types of environmental/planning disputes (approx 40%) eg relating to town planning, rezoning, development applications, environmental prosecutions/compliance, land access/acquisition, environmental impact assessments/approvals,



cultural heritage/vegetation protection/contaminated land issues and climate change/sustainability, environmental risk;
- strata property litigation (approx 10%).

Also opportunity to engage in a little bit of non-litigation (ie advisory front-end) construction/environmental & planning and strata property cases.

WHO YOU ARE

We are interested in hearing from you if you:

- are admitted as a solicitor in NSW;
- have minimum 4 years’ post-admission experience (up to Senior Associate level) in construction litigation (essential) + some preferably (not essential) experience in: 1) environmental/planning/local government law litigation; and/or 2) strata litigation;
- have strong communication, research, negotiation, advocacy and client management skills;
- are practical, adaptable, commercial, dead-line driven and results-oriented;
- are hungry to advance your career LONG-TERM as a well-rounded versatile specialist construction/environmental/strata litigator with a top specialist firm.
