YOUR ROLE

As an integral part of this highly impressive fast-growing commercial law firm with a refreshing open and down-to-earth approach, being mentored by the top calibre Managing Partner, you will love advising on a diverse multitude of intellectually stimulating, challenging and engaging corporate/commercial issues+ litigating insolvency matters. Core areas include:

- Corporate/Commercial transactions- directors’ duties, sale& purchase of business, shareholder/partnership agreements, sale/purchase of assets, supplier agreements, employment/WHS issues, banking/finance, business/commercial contracts;

- Commercial/Insolvency litigation- debt recovery, bankruptcy notice/statutory demands/winding up applications/bankruptcy petitions, claw backs/voidable transactions, DOCA, insolvent trading, proof of debt rights of creditors.

WHO YOU ARE

We are interested in hearing from you if you:

- have 3+ years PAE (up to Associate level) experience as a lawyer in corporate/commercial transactions+ commercial litigation (preferably with some insolvency experience) and can manage your own files;
- have strong technical legal, research, drafting skills;
- have outstanding communication+ client management skills;
- are practical, commercial, dead-line driven and results-oriented;
- are ambitious, have a high work ethic+ are teachable+ hungry to learn+ grow.
