As KTrans continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Bulk Operations Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in the success of our Bulk Operations division.

About the Role:

- Based in Welshpool, you’ll play a key role in overseeing day-to-day operations across our Bulk Operations division.
- Working closely with our dedicated team of drivers, customers and internal stakeholders, you’ll help ensure we deliver safe, reliable and high-quality service, while supporting the continued success of our operations.
- This is a hands-on frontline leadership role suited to someone who understands the transport industry, enjoys working with people, and thrives in a fast-paced operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, support and develop a team of professional drivers, creating a positive and accountable team culture.
- Coordinate the daily allocation of trucks, trailers and drivers to ensure customer requirements are consistently met.
- Plan and distribute daily routes, including the dispatch, routing and tracking of vehicles.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, control costs and support revenue growth across the division.
- Ensure vehicles and equipment are available and appropriately scheduled to meet operational requirements.
- Coordinate and forecast servicing,



repairs and maintenance to minimise downtime and maintain operational reliability.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing development of team members.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, ensuring protected work practices are understood, followed and actively promoted across the team.
- Contribute to incident, damage and safety investigations, ensuring corrective actions are identified and implemented.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve operational challenges and deliver practical solutions.

About You:

- You’re an experienced transport professional and people leader who enjoys being close to the operation and making things happen.
- Proven experience supervising or leading teams within the transport and logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of bulk transport operations.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate trucks, trailers and drivers effectively.
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
- A sound understanding of AMMS and PBS network requirements.
- A strong safety focus and commitment to safe work practices.
- Experience supporting the recruitment, training and development of team members.
