I am currently working with a well-established multidisciplinary building services consultancy that is continuing to grow its Melbourne team.

They are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer who can work independently across the full project lifecycle, from concept design through to construction.

This is an opportunity to join a highly respected consultancy delivering technically challenging projects across sectors including healthcare, laboratories, education, commercial, workplace, public infrastructure, cultural facilities, aged care, defence and data centres.

The business has built a strong reputation for delivering innovative and sustainable engineering solutions on some of Australia's most significant developments.

The Role

Reporting to the Building Services Manager, you will:

Develop mechanical design solutions across a range of building services projects




Manage day-to-day delivery of your own project workload
Liaise directly with clients and attend project meetings
Coordinate with internal multidisciplinary teams and external consultants
Prepare and review design documentation, calculations and specifications
Contribute to business development and project pursuits

About You

Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering.
6+ years' experience in a building services consulting environment.
Demonstrated stability and progression through your career to date.
Relevant project experience preferred.
Registered/Chartered engineer (CPEng or equivalent) preferred.
Solid technical design skills across HVAC, hydraulics or fire services.
Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience.
Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of project outcomes.
