Barcaldine Multipurpose Health Service in regional Queensland is seeking experienced Clinical Nurses to join their Emergency, Ambulance, and Aged Care teams on a 10-week contract from 28 September to 6 December 2026. This is an prospect to bring your acute care expertise to a multipurpose health service serving a regional community, working across diverse clinical settings that demand flexibility, strong clinical judgment, and a collaborative approach to patient care.

Preferred Requirements

- Extensive experience working in acute care, aged care, and emergency settings




- Demonstrated competence in triage assessment and patient prioritisation
- Proficiency in IV cannulation and venepuncture
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams across different clinical areas

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN), eligible for NG5 or NG6 classification
- Relevant post-graduate qualifications or experience in Emergency Nursing or Aged Care
- Current First Aid certification and willingness to maintain clinical certifications throughout the contract
