Coonamble District Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a seven-week contract from 14 September to 1 November 2026. This is an opportunity to bring your ED expertise to a regional healthcare setting in Coonamble, NSW, where your clinical skills and leadership will make a direct impact on patient care and team performance.

- Seven-week contract role in a regional emergency department setting
- Lead clinical care and support the ED team with your in-charge experience

Preferred Requirements

- Demonstrated experience working in an emergency department workplace
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Proven in-charge or leadership experience within an ED setting
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Post-graduate qualification or certification in Emergency Nursing is advantageous
