Coolah District Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on an 8-week contract basis, commencing 14 September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically skilled nurse with ED experience to contribute to a busy regional emergency service. The role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise in emergency care and leadership will be valued.

Preferred Requirements

- Demonstrated experience working in an emergency department environment
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Proven experience working in charge and managing ED teams
- Solid clinical assessment and decision-making skills in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to prioritise effectively and manage competing demands

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Post-graduate qualification or certification in Emergency Nursing is advantageous
