Dubbo Base Hospital & Health Service is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Special Care Nursery (SCN) and Paediatrics team on a contract basis. This is an opportunity to bring senior-level clinical expertise to a busy regional healthcare service, supporting vulnerable infants and children in a specialist setting. The role runs from now through to 6 December 2026, based in Dubbo, NSW.

- Senior-level clinical practice in SCN and paediatric nursing within a regional hospital setting
- Contract position through to 6 December 2026, offering flexibility and defined commitment

Preferred Requirements

- Substantial post-registration experience in Special Care Nursery and/or paediatric nursing
- Demonstrated clinical competence in neonatal and paediatric assessment,



monitoring, and care delivery
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Current knowledge of relevant clinical guidelines and best-practice standards in SCN and paediatrics
- Ability to manage complex patient needs and respond effectively in a busy regional hospital environment

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent), with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Post-graduate qualification or specialist certification in neonatal or paediatric nursing
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) or Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
