About the role

Origin Fencing Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Factory / Warehouse Manager to join our growing team in Brisbane, Queensland. You will be responsible for overseeing the efficient manufacture, preparation, storage and distribution of fencing products and materials used across major construction projects throughout Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. Working closely with our production and operations teams, you will help ensure products are manufactured to specification, materials are available when required, and all warehouse and manufacturing activities are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day manufacturing and warehouse operations.

- Read and accurately interpret plans, specifications and technical drawings.

- Oversee manufacturing and prepare fencing components and materials to project requirements.

- Safely operate machinery and equipment, including pipe benders, drill presses and crimping equipment.

- Coordinate the loading and unloading of trucks, plant, equipment and materials safely and efficiently.

- Assist with stock control, inventory management and material ordering.

- Monitor product quality and ensure items are manufactured correctly and to specification.

- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient manufacturing and warehouse environment.

- Ensure all WH&S; procedures and company safety requirements are followed.

- Lead by example and promote a strong safety, quality and teamwork culture.

About you

- Previous experience leading or managing a manufacturing and warehouse team.

- Strong knowledge and practical experience with fencing products,



materials and manufacturing processes.

- The ability to read and interpret drawings, plans and specifications.

- Current High Risk Work Licence – LF Forklift.

- Current HR Driver Licence.

- Experience operating manufacturing and workshop machinery.

- Previous experience loading and unloading trucks and construction materials.

- Good understanding of warehouse and manufacturing processes.

- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Desirable Experience

The following qualifications and experience will be highly regarded:

- Excavator and/or Skid Steer experience and relevant tickets.

- Welding knowledge or practical welding experience.

- Experience loading and unloading trucks and plant.

- Previous experience in the fencing, construction or manufacturing industry.
