Dubbo Base Hospital & Health Service is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) community mental health team on a 10-week contract basis. Starting 14 September 2026 and concluding 20 November 2026, this role offers the prospect to deliver nursing care and mental health support to young people within a community-based setting in Dubbo, NSW. You'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team, bringing your mental health expertise to make a real difference in the lives of children and adolescents.

- Community-based mental health nursing focused on child and adolescent care

Preferred Requirements





- Demonstrated mental health nursing experience, with exposure to child and adolescent mental health preferred
- Experience working in community-based mental health settings
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills when engaging with young people and their families
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification, with current AHPRA registration
- Post-graduate qualification or formal training in mental health nursing
- Experience or training in child and adolescent mental health assessment and support
