Canowindra Soldiers' Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a six-week contract basis. Based in Canowindra, NSW, this role runs from 14 September to 25 October 2026 and offers the chance to work in a energetic acute care setting where your clinical expertise and leadership will make a real difference. You'll be part of a team that values skilled, capable nurses who can manage the pace and complexity of emergency care.

Preferred Requirements

- Demonstrated emergency department experience with proven clinical competence




- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Experience working in a charge nurse or leadership capacity
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification current and valid
- Post-graduate qualification in Emergency Nursing or equivalent clinical experience
