What we are looking for:

- Strong leadership and passionate and driven leader who can focus on both the individual and the team

- Willingness to learn and contribute to financial viability and sustainability of a kitchen or restaurant to help grow revenue and improve business efficiencies

- Someone who is committed to understanding and further developing relationships with producers & supplier in the local region

- Experience within a similar sized operation including A La Carte, C&E;, Weddings, Fine Dining & Casual Dining

- The desire to be innovative and create food with elegance and flair

- Confidence in running sections for breakfast, lunch, dinner or special event kitchen teams





- Ensuring customer expectations are met and product quality is matched even when you are not in the kitchen

- Ability to follow procedures and processes

- Contribution to Menu development using modern and classical techniques

- Ability to produce high quality food from multi national cuisines

- Understanding of banquet conference operations

Skills & Experience:

- Trade qualification or equivalent

- Dedication to the production, preparation and presentation of dishes of the highest quality

- Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision

- Team player attitude and willingness to work within a large, diiverse team

- Commitment and passion for high-end service always ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

- Adhere to strict stock rotation and minimum wastage guidelines

- Ability to maintain a clean, hygienic and safe working environment

- A want to grow and progress within the industry

- Relevant experience in a premium restaurant/banquet kitchen

- Enthusiasm and creative approach to providing high-quality cuisine

- Planning and organisational skills

- Demonstrated understanding of Australian food safety, WHS and HACCP

- Availability to work weekends and public holidays as required within a rotating roster

- Well presented, punctual and reliable

- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
