About the Role

AHP is seeking an experienced Associate Physiotherapist to join our team at AHP Wellness Centre at Rathdowne Place in Carlton.

Our purpose-built wellness centre provides a dedicated environment for physiotherapy, exercise and hydrotherapy, supporting adults across a diverse range of clinical needs. You will work with clients across rehabilitation, neurological and musculoskeletal conditions, balance disorders, falls risk management and general deconditioning.

Working alongside our Principal Physiotherapist and broader AHP clinical team, you will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with clients, families, support networks and referral partners.

This is an opportunity to join an established service, contribute your clinical expertise and play an active role in the continued development of a growing wellness centre.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality physiotherapy assessments, treatments and clinical recommendations

- Deliver individual and group exercise-based sessions across the gym and hydrotherapy pool





- Develop personalised treatment and exercise programs based on individual goals and needs

- Apply evidence-based clinical reasoning to improve outcomes and quality of life

- Support clients across rehabilitation, neurological, musculoskeletal, balance and falls prevention programs

- Manage end-to-end client journey, from responding to enquiries and scheduling appointments through to processing payments

- Work collaboratively with the Principal Physiotherapist and broader AHP multidisciplinary team

- Build positive relationships with clients, families, support networks and referral partners

About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring a professional, person-centred approach and enjoy working collaboratively within a broader multidisciplinary team.

You will ideally have:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist with no restrictions

- Minimum 5 years' clinical experience

- Experience in hydrotherapy

- Experience working with older adults and/or people living with dementia

- Clinical experience in neurological and musculoskeletal physiotherapy

- Experience developing and delivering individual and group exercise programs

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
