As a Care Worker - Medications, you will support older people to remain safe, independent and comfortable in their own homes by delivering high-quality personal care, medication assistance and domestic support services.

Working across our Home Services team, you will provide person-centred care in accordance with individual care plans, supporting customers with personal care, mobility, medication administration and monitoring, meal preparation, household tasks and community participation. You will play an key role in promoting our customers' physical, emotional and social wellbeing while helping them maintain their independence at home.

You will work independently while also being part of a supportive and collaborative team, building positive relationships with customers, families and colleagues. Through your compassion, professionalism and commitment to quality care, you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of older people throughout the community.

The requirements | What it takes to do this work

- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing), Aged Care or equivalent
- Medication Module HLTHPS007 - Administer and Monitor Medications
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Driver Licence
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Previous aged care, disability care or community care experience
- Experience providing personal care and medication support
- Empathy and commitment to supporting older people
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Commitment to workplace equity and inclusion

The benefits | Recognising the difference you make

- Permanent Part Time position, 20 hours per week
- Required availability: Saturday (6 hours) and Sunday (4 hours), with remaining hours worked during the week
- Hourly Rate $36.23
