Hervey Bay Nurseries is looking for a driven Sales & Customer Service Lead reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager. You will be responsible for continuing the customer relationships both wholesale and independents, coordinating sales activity and ensuring our customers receive reliable, professional service.

This is a hands-on role where customer service, sales, organisation and attention to detail all come together. You'll work closely with wholesale customers, Bunnings stores, and our internal Sales, Despatch, Production and Administration teams.

About the Role

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day customer relationships and ensuring orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.

You'll play an important role in supporting sales growth by maintaining regular contact with customers, identifying opportunities to increase product ranging and sales volume, and ensuring customers have confidence in the service and support they receive.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day communication with wholesale & Independent customers

- Respond to product, pricing and availability enquiries

- Coordinate order placement, allocation and confirmation

- Handle customer claims and resolve issues professionally

- Maintain regular/weekly call cycles with wholesale customers and Bunnings stores

- Build and strengthen long-term customer relationships

- Ensure wholesale orders and customer data are accurate and up to date

- Maintain supplier portals and order records

- Support invoicing and dispatch documentation

- Participate in stocktaking and accurate stock management

- Photograph ready stock for sales, marketing and customer communication

- Work collaboratively with Sales Administration, Despatch,



Production and Administration

- Communicate risks, delays and changes promptly

- Provide administrative and reporting support as required
