Job Description

The Day Procedures Unit at Greenslopes Private Hospital is expanding and we're seeking an experienced nurse to lead our growing team!

The Clinical Nurse role offers excellent family-friendly working hours, Monday to Friday, with morning and afternoon shifts available. Importantly, there are no night shifts or weekend work, making this an attractive chance for nurses seeking a positive work-life balance.

You will work within a modern and supportive environment alongside a highly respected team of surgeons, nurses and support staff.

The Day Procedures Unit includes:

- 10 procedure rooms/operating theatres
- 30 recovery bays
- A dedicated discharge lounge supporting both Day Procedure Unit and Theatre patients
- A diverse range of specialties, including Gastroenterology, IVF, Plastics, Maxillofacial, Pain Management, Dermatology,

About You

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centred care.

You will:

- Contribute to a friendly, caring and safe environment for patients
- Be a positive and committed team player
- Demonstrate a strong passion for excellent customer service and patient-centred care
- Thrive in a varied, fast-paced clinical environment
- Work collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager and the wider Day Procedures team
- Demonstrate professionalism and act as a positive role model at all times

Essential Criteria

- Minimum 3 years' clinical experience in Bronchoscopy/Respiratory in a Day Procedure or Theatre environment is essential
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- A passion for mentoring junior team members and positively influencing their performance




- Clinical leadership experience is desirable but not essential
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality patient care and skilled practice

Remuneration: On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $54.72 - $58.82 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties and allowances (*QLD RN/Midwife Level 2.1-2.4*)

- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
