This is an excellent opportunity for a Consultant Respiratory Physician to join a well-established regional service delivering comprehensive respiratory and general medical care. You will manage a broad case mix including acute and chronic respiratory conditions, contribute to inpatient and outpatient services, and play a key role in multidisciplinary care and service development.

Hospital
The hospital is a major regional referral centre servicing a large catchment across western NSW. The Respiratory service manages a wide range of conditions including COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, and sleep-related disorders, supported by inpatient care, outpatient clinics, and diagnostic services such as lung function testing and bronchoscopy. The department works closely with general medicine, ICU, and allied health teams, with strong links to tertiary centres for advanced care. It provides a cooperative environment with opportunities for clinical leadership, teaching, and service development.

Requirements

- Hold the fellowship in Respiratory medicine (FRACP) or Dual Fellowship in General Medicine / Respiratory medicine
- Candidates close to completing peer review requirements are encouraged to apply
