The Opportunity

As a Fire Design Engineer, you will take ownership of the design and coordination of fire protection systems across a range of projects throughout Queensland.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and clients to deliver compliant, practical and cost-effective fire protection solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design wet fire, dry or both fire systems
- Prepare design drawings and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and NCC requirements




- Coordinate with project delivery and construction teams
- Support design reviews, approvals and technical submissions
- Assist with project delivery from concept through to completion
- Maintain high levels of technical accuracy and quality assurance

Skills & Experience

We're interested in speaking with candidates who possess:

- Experience in Fire Protection Design or Fire Services Design
- Knowledge of wet fire and dry fire systems
- AutoCAD design experience
- Revit Experience
- Understanding of Australian fire protection standards
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

Essential Requirement
QBCC Licence Required

You must either:

- Hold a current QBCC Licence; or
- Be willing and eligible to obtain a QBCC Licence.

This is a mandatory requirement for the role.
