About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior headspace Clinician who can provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to young people aged 12–25 years, their families and supports.
This role requires a clinician who brings depth of practice, sound clinical judgement and confidence working at a senior level. The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced capability in assessment, engagement, treatment planning, risk formulation and therapeutic support within a youth-friendly, strengths-based and recovery-oriented framework. In addition to providing direct clinical care, the role will contribute to the development of clinical capability across the headspace team by supporting, guiding and mentoring early-career clinicians, modelling high-quality practice and contributing to a reflective, safe and collaborative clinical culture.
The role will support young people presenting with moderate mental health concerns, and at times more complex needs, through individual counselling, brief intervention,
group-based programs and coordinated care in collaboration with the broader headspace multidisciplinary team.
Candidates with relevant qualifications in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Mental Health Nursing, Registered Nursing, Counselling or other recognised mental health disciplines are encouraged to apply. Demonstrated experience working at a senior clinical level, including the ability to provide informal clinical leadership, consultation and support to less experienced clinicians, will be essential.
headspace, and FocusOne Health as our lead agency, offers a supportive environment, working with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals and organisational specialists, to support your professional development. Access to significant Professional Development opportunities are available, including support to obtain accreditation for your profession (where eligible).
We are committed to achieving a diverse workforce and strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
The successful applicant will be remunerated in accordance with FocusOne Health’s Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) dependent on skills, experience, and qualifications. We offer adaptable terms and conditions and attractive salary packaging arrangements. For more information about salary packaging, please visit Discover salary packaging - Community Business Bureau (cbb.com.au).
