About the role:

Uniting AgeWell is seeking an experienced and people-focused Residential Services Manager to lead our Lilian Martin (Hobart) Residential Aged care facility through a period of ongoing transformation within the aged care sector. Having recently successfully commissioned 60 new beds,



now 110 in total, the next stage of our exciting redevelopment commences next year in 2027.

You will inspire multidisciplinary teams, build trust, drive continuous improvement and create an environment where people feel supported to perform at their best. Working closely with leaders, residents and families, you will influence positive change while ensuring high-quality, person-centred care remains at the heart of everything you do. This role offers the opportunity to shape team culture and deliver meaningful impact every day.

- Lead and strengthen a positive, high-performing workplace culture grounded in trust, respect and accountability
- Guide teams through change, helping staff adapt confidently to evolving aged care reforms, standards and service expectations
- Coach, mentor and develop clinical and operational leaders to build capability and succession across the service
- Partner with residents, families and stakeholders to enhance customer experience and strengthen community connections
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve resident outcomes, staff engagement and service performance
- Create an setting where person-centred care, innovation and best practice are embedded in everyday decision-making




- Lead operational, financial and quality outcomes while maintaining accreditation and regulatory excellence

About you:

This is the place for you if you have:

- Current registration with AHPRA as a Div 1 Registered nurse
- Previous experience in clinical management roles within aged care, with a clear commitment for achieving contemporary, best practice person-centred care in the workplace
- Proven leadership capabilities, demonstrated through previous managerial experience
- Proven ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders
- Strong track record improving employee engagement and retention
- Experience leading through periods of transformation or reform
- Commercial and operational leadership across complex services
- Ability to coach, mentor and develop future leaders
- Strong focus on customer outcomes, quality improvement and sustainable performance

Essentials for working in Aged Care:

- A current Working With Vulnerable People card
- Current and ongoing flu and vaccinations
- Australian working rights
- Ability to pass a (or hold a current) NDIS Clearance
