Role Overview:

We are seeking a committed Mathematics teacher with the knowledge and skills to teach Mathematics from Year 7 to Year 12.

This is a full-time contract leave-replacement position from 22 January to 8 December 2027.

Role Description:





- To carry out the teaching duties and responsibilities across the four broad interrelated areas of curriculum, classroom organisation, professionalism and school expectations

- Use teaching strategies based on sound knowledge of students’ physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics to improve student learning

- Contribute to the academic growth of each student through data informed practice

- Actively engage in the School’s Thrive (Teacher Performance Development) Program

- Establish and maintain respectful, cooperative relationships with parents/carers regarding their children’s learning and wellbeing

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have:

- Strong understanding of the developmental needs of Junior School aged children

- Knowledge and understanding of best practice in education

- Skilled in creating a warm, welcoming and productive classroom environment

- Ability to foster and promote positive relationships with all stakeholders (students, colleagues, parents and the wider community)

- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively as part of a team and to be a role-model of lifelong learning
