About our service

Located in the picturesque suburb of Durack, a short drive from Darwin, One Tree Kids Brigade offers a welcoming place to build your career and make a difference.

With three distinct rooms and space for up to 85 children, you’ll have opportunities to share your ideas, create engaging learning experiences and support children as they grow in confidence. From helping a child settle into their day to celebrating a new friendship or skill, the little moments will mean a lot.

You’ll become part of a dedicated team who work closely with families and the local community. For Defence families navigating postings, deployments and time apart,



the relationships you build can provide a sense of belonging when it’s needed most.

Our Room Leaders and Management team will mentor you, encourage your ideas and help you grow. You’ll work alongside colleagues who care about the children, their families and each other, with support to take the next step in your career.

What you’ll bring

- Certificate 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Previous experience within early childhood education
- Current Northern Territory Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card) and Police Clearance
- An understanding of programming, observations and children’s individual learning goals
- The confidence to share ideas and contribute to a team
- The ability to build positive relationships with children and families
- A positive, reliable and collaborative approach to your work
