The Role

The Learning Strategies Teachers will collaborate with classroom teachers to support VCE students in the classroom, and assist with planning, resourcing and implementing Individual Learning Plans. As a valued member of our team, you will be part of making a real difference by positively impacting student experience and contributing to our school community.

In these Full Time, Permanent position commencing 1 January 2027 you will be working as part of a supportive and collegial team based at our Caulfield Campus.

Key Duties

- Structure teaching programs informed by research and collegial advice on student learning.
- Develop differentiated teaching activities that cater to diverse learning needs, including students with disabilities, adhering to relevant policies and legislation.
- Provide flexible support tailored to individual students,



employing effective assessment methods to monitor and report on student progress.
- Administer and interpret 1-1 diagnostic assessments
- Collaborate actively with colleagues to develop and implement student-centered Individual Learning Plans.
- Utilise strategies based on students’ developmental characteristics to enhance learning outcomes.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation on student progress as required.
- Participate in career development activities to continually improve teaching practices.
- Model and uphold Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours

Skills and Experience

- Experience supporting the differentiation of the curriculum within the secondary environment.
- Qualification in Learning Intervention
- Relevant Secondary Teaching Qualifications
- Hold a current VIT Registration
