OVERVIEW

An established and boutique commercial and retail property management business, specialising in the management, leasing and optimisation of commercial assets and shopping centres across Western Australia.

With deep industry experience and a strong focus on delivering high-value outcomes for property owners, the business takes a hands-on and strategic approach to asset management, combining commercial insight with a strong focus on tenant relationships, property performance and long-term asset value.

They are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented trust accountant to join their close knit team on a full-time basis.

Some responsibilities will include:

- Manage daily trust accounting and financial transactions
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Complete monthly bank and trust account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and owner reports
- Manage tenant receipts, payments and allocations
- Process owner distributions and invoices
- Assist with budgets, forecasts and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with relevant trust accounting legislation and requirements
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies and outstanding transactions
- Liaise with property managers, owners, tenants and suppliers




- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Assist with audits and end-of-year accounting requirements

CRITERIA

- Proven experience in commercial trust accounting (ideally 2-3 years)
- Strong financial acumen
- Ability to handle a competing priorities
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and numerical skills
- Skilled communication skills and confidence liaising with property managers, owners and tenants
- Relevant accounting or finance qualifications will be highly regarded
