Position: Childcare Liaison Officer
Status: Permanent Part-time – Monday to Wednesday (22.5 hours per week – 8:00 – 16:00)
Hourly rate: $46.58 – $48.93 per hour (inclusive of all allowances/loadings), plus super

One Tree Kununurra Community Childcare and Education Centre is a brand-new childcare centre and will be working alongside with our Woothoo-woothoong Ninggoowoong Dawang Children’s Service next door. Selection criteria

- Strong knowledge (or ability to acquire) around the Family Assistance Law, Child Care Subsidy Provider Handbook and Additional Child Care (Wellbeing) Subsidy Provider Handbook and the application of these into CCS service types
- Knowledge of QIKIDS and operational experience managing new enrolments
- Ability to travel regularly
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and high level of cultural intelligence
- Organisational skills including general organising, planning, time management,



scheduling, coordinating resources and meeting deadlines
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of, and commitment to comply with the organisation’s code of ethics, vision (spirit), policies and procedures and to support the organisations culture
- Experience in building successful relationships with staff, families and community
- Experience in achieving excellence at management level in an early education and care setting

Requirements

- Eligible to work in Australia and live in Kununurra
- Relevant qualifications in accordance with the Education and Care Services
- Current WA Working with Children Check
- Satisfactory National Police Clearance
- Current First Aid and CPR
- GECCKO Child Safety Training
