About the Role

Mediapoint is a high-volume, system-driven print production business.

This is not a slow warehouse job.

We are looking for someone who can work with urgency, take initiative, and keep production moving not someone who waits to be told what to do.

You’ll be part of a team where jobs move quickly through finishing, packing, and dispatch, and everyone is expected to contribute to output.

Training will be provided, so print experience is not required.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a hands-on production role working across:

- Finishing machines (cutting, trimming, eyelets, handwork)

- Large format machines (training provided)

- Packing, QA, and dispatch

- Keeping jobs flowing through production

You won’t be doing one task all day.

We move people based on workload, so you need to be comfortable jumping between tasks and helping wherever needed.

We value people who step in, solve problems, and keep things moving — not those who wait for direction.

What We’re Looking For

This role suits someone who:

- Gets it right first time and checks their own work before anyone else has to

- Follows systems and processes properly, and speaks up when one could be better

- Finds the cause of a problem and sorts it rather than waiting for someone to notice

- Works at pace without dropping quality

- Calm, reliable, no ego, no drama

- Good computer skills

You don’t need print experience.

- Be able to follow systems and processes

- Communicate clearly in English

- Keep up in a fast-paced setting

This Role Is NOT For

- People who move slowly or need constant supervision

- People who avoid responsibility when issues come up

- People who bring negativity into the team

- People who prefer to work outside structured processes

- People who let a marginal job through because "it'll probably be fine"

Experience (Preferred, Not Essential)

- Manufacturing or production experience

- Been a line leader, team leader, 2IC or the operator the supervisor relied on (strongly preferred)

- Machine operation experience

- Packing in a fast pace environment

- Print or finishing experience (bonus only)

Hours & Pay

- Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm (Monday to Friday)

- Competitive hourly rate (includes afternoon loading)
