Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Clinical Educator (Acute & Subacute) to join our growing on a part time (0.8EFT) ongoing basis.

The Clinical Educator plays a critical role in developing workforce capability and supporting excellence in clinical practice across inpatient services at Latrobe Regional Health. Working in partnership with nursing leadership and multidisciplinary teams, you will deliver, coordinate and evaluate education programs that enhance clinical competence, support professional development and promote safe, high-quality patient care.

Using your expertise in nursing practice and adult learning principles, you will drive education initiatives, support staff development and foster a culture of continuous learning, reflective practice and evidence-based care aligned with organisational priorities and strategic objectives.

The role of the Clinical Educator (Acute & Subacute) is to:

- Provide clinical education, mentorship and support to nursing staff, graduates, students and postgraduate learners across inpatient areas.
- Deliver and facilitate unit-based and organisation-wide education programs in response to workforce needs and mandatory training requirements.
- Collaborate with Nurse Unit Managers, education teams and key stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop targeted education solutions.
- Develop, implement and evaluate education programs that promote clinical excellence, evidence-based practice and positive patient outcomes.
- Monitor workforce training requirements and support staff compliance with mandatory education and competency frameworks.
- Promote reflective practice, quality improvement and continuous professional development to strengthen workforce capability and clinical outcomes.

About you





Ideal candidates for this role will have:

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- A minimum of five years post-registration nursing experience.
- Demonstrated experience delivering education, training, coaching and mentoring programs for healthcare professionals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
- Sound understanding of the National Competency Standards for the Registered Nurse and contemporary healthcare education principles.
- A commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement and the ongoing development of others.
