About the Role

At Vista, our manufacturing team uses some of the most advanced technology in modern digital print manufacturing. We are seeking motivated, hands-on Casual Production Operators specializing in Finishing & Cutting to join our production floor.

In this role, you will be key to bringing custom products to life—ensuring that everything leaving our facility meets world-class quality standards. What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)

- Machinery Operation: Safely set up, operate, and execute quick changeovers across a range of finishing and cutting equipment, including:

- Guillotines and Rotary Die Cutters

- Folders, Scoring, and Perforation equipment

- Lamination and UV Coaters

- Stitching equipment, Wire Binding, Padding, and Paper Drills

- Process & Dispatch: Complete finishing tasks accurately and assist with packing and dispatch to ensure customer orders go out on time.

- Basic Maintenance:



Conduct basic troubleshooting and routine equipment checks to keep machinery running smoothly and minimize downtime.

- Operational Excellence: Apply Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, quick changeovers) to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workstation.

What We’re Looking For (Skills & Experience)

- Industry Experience: Proven experience operating machinery within a print, digital production, or fast-paced manufacturing workplace.

- Finishing Expertise: Hands-on experience with cutting, binding, folding, or laminating equipment.

- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot minor operational issues and perform routine equipment care.

- Continuous Improvement: Knowledge of or exposure to Lean manufacturing principles is a strong advantage.

- Mindset: Proactive, safety-focused, and detail-oriented with a strong team-first attitude.
