The Prospect

We are seeking an experienced Principal Data & Analytics Consultant to support a significant Microsoft Fabric implementation. Working closely with existing project and client teams, you will review, enhance and develop Microsoft Fabric data pipelines, model data within the existing Lakehouse environment and provide practical architectural and solution advice.

This is a hands-on senior consulting role requiring strong Microsoft Fabric expertise, stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to translate business requirements into effective data and analytics solutions.
Key responsibilities

- Review, update, develop and support Microsoft Fabric data pipelines
- Design and maintain data models within a Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse




- Provide architectural and solution advice across the Fabric environment
- Undertake data analysis using SQL and Python
- Develop Power BI integrations, reports and dashboards
- Work collaboratively with technical teams, business stakeholders and project leadership
- Facilitate workshops and help define practical data solutions where required

Essential experience

- Strong Microsoft Fabric architecture and implementation experience
- Demonstrated experience building and managing data pipelines
- Lakehouse architecture and data-modelling expertise
- Advanced data analysis capability
- Strong SQL and Python development skills
- Power BI integration and dashboard-development experience
- Excellent stakeholder communication and consulting skills

Contract details

- Initial term of at least six months
- Open to candidates located anywhere on Australia's East Coast
- Brisbane or Adelaide candidates are preferred
- No security clearance required
