About the Role
Reporting to the Manager Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), you will play a key role in supporting the effective planning, monitoring and reporting of projects across the City of Marion. You'll be responsible for:

- Supporting the delivery and continuous improvement of the City's project management framework, systems and processes.
- Maintaining the quality, accuracy and consistency of project and portfolio information across a diverse range of projects.
- Preparing project and portfolio reports, dashboards and presentations using tools such as Power BI, Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Assisting Project Managers with project scheduling, reporting, governance and project control activities.
- Providing administration, user support and troubleshooting for project management systems including Microsoft Project, Pulse and SharePoint.
- Coordinating governance meetings, including agendas, papers, minutes, action tracking and reporting.
- Supporting governance, assurance and executive reporting activities through the provision of accurate and timely project information.
- Developing and maintaining project documentation, templates, training materials and user guides.




- Contributing to improving project reporting, systems, tools and ways of working across the organisation.

About You
We're looking for someone with a proactive mindset who is driven to make a positive impact, takes initiative, and enjoys creating structure, improving processes and helping teams succeed. You will bring:

- An understanding of project management principles and the project lifecycle, with exposure to project coordination, project support or project-based work.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret information, identify issues and support effective decision-making.
- The ability to collect, organise, validate and review information and contribute to accurate, clear and fit-for-purpose project and portfolio reporting in accordance with established requirements.
- The ability to produce clear, accurate and professional reports, presentations, templates, meeting papers, minutes and other business documentation.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
- A collaborative, customer-focused approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- A proactive mindset, willingness to learn and genuine interest in developing a career in project, program or portfolio management.

Highly Regarded:
- Experience in a PMO, project coordination, project support, analyst or similar role.
- Experience in local government, infrastructure,



civil works, building construction or another complex project delivery workplace.
- Experience with project reporting, governance, scheduling, risk and issue management, or project controls.
- Experience using Microsoft Project, Power BI, SharePoint or similar project and reporting systems.
- Qualifications or certifications in project management, business analysis, data analytics or a related discipline.
