About the role
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you'll take ownership of e-commerce performance across several established brands and websites. You'll be responsible for developing and executing initiatives that increase traffic, conversions, customer acquisition, and revenue. You'll have the autonomy to identify opportunities, challenge the status quo, implement improvements, and directly influence business performance. This role will suit someone who enjoys being a genuine contributor to the broader marketing function, combining ecommerce expertise with performance marketing, website optimisation, SEO, analytics, content, and customer journey management.
Key responsibilities
- Own and execute the e-commerce growth strategy across multiple digital channels, driving traffic, conversions, customer acquisition and revenue growth.
- Lead the management and optimisation of Shopify websites, including product data, user experience, site performance, landing pages, navigation and conversion rate optimisation initiatives.
- Develop and optimise paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Google Shopping, Bing Ads and Meta, managing budgets, product feeds and campaign performance to maximise ROAS.
- Drive organic growth through SEO strategy, including keyword research, technical audits, backlink development and the creation of high-quality content across multiple websites.
- Build and execute customer retention, retargeting and cart abandonment strategies across email, SMS and digital advertising channels.
- Analyse digital performance, customer behaviour and competitor activity, translating insights into actionable recommendations and maintaining reporting dashboards that measure commercial outcomes.
- Collaborate with the broader marketing team to align ecommerce initiatives with business objectives, campaigns and brand activity.
About you
- 3+ years of hands-on e-commerce and digital marketing experience
- Proven success managing Google Ads and Meta campaigns yourself
- Strong Shopify administration and optimisation experience
- Solid understanding of SEO strategy and implementation
- Experience managing product feeds and Google Merchant Centre
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into commercial outcomes
- Experience building reporting dashboards and presenting insights
- Excellent copywriting and content creation capabilities
- Experience with email marketing, customer journeys, and automation campaigns
