READ THIS FIRST
This role is not for everyone. This consultancy's interview process has a high bar and will test for genuine experience architecting, building, and testing AI-native systems. If you aren't comfortable talking about observability, security, evals, durability, and scalability, this won't be for you. I'd expect the person successful in this role has likely built their own dark factory or system of agents, and likely doesn't hand-write much code anymore. But if that is your world and you want to work alongside others doing the same read on.
What's in it for you?
Join a high-growth technology consultancy as a senior technical member, building modern, agent-first AI systems that solve real-world problems and deliver real-world AI value to the clients you work with. This is your opportunity to combine deep software engineering rigour with cutting-edge AI architecture, leading from the front with total autonomy and direct access to executive leadership.
What you'll be doing:
- Architecting and building production-grade platforms powered by agentic AI, intelligent workflow automation, and custom software.
- Serving as a senior technical anchor in product trios alongside Product Managers and subject matter experts to shape product roadmaps and technical vision.
- Leading technical discovery, architecture design, and client workshops, translating complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders while balancing trade-offs.
- Building software AI-first, I wouldn't expect you to be hand-writing many lines of code.
- Partnering directly with the CTO and senior executives to influence technical strategy, team culture, and delivery practices.
Experience required:
- Deep background in core software and infrastructure fundamentals
- Hands-on experience architecting and shipping modern production systems, with strong expertise in cloud-native, microservices, or event-driven architectures
- Experience working in production with agents and agentic architectures
- Demonstrated experience or genuine depth in building agentic systems, AI-powered workflows, or integrating LLMs into production software architectures.
- Proven client-facing or multi-stakeholder confidence with experience running workshops, extracting discovery requirements, and managing scope.
- An AI-native mindset with an intrinsic drive to leverage modern AI development tools to move fast and write resilient software.

Supported by an elite executive team with a history of building multi million-dollar ventures, they offer an environment built around speed, quality, and modern AI engineering practices.
Benefits:
- 100% remote-work flexibility with an optional Sydney office hub.
- Direct reporting line to the CTO with clear pathways into executive technical leadership.
- Fast-paced, low-bureaucracy environment where engineering decisions reach production quickly.
- Generous support for R&D;, continuous experimentation, and working with top-tier modern tech stacks.
