Presbyterian Ladies’ College (PLC) is a leading ELC to Year 12 independent day and boarding school, focusing on the development of the whole person. PLC has an outstanding academic tradition, an international focus and strong pastoral and co-curricular programs focusing on encouraging leadership, service and life-long personal development and learning.

PLC provides exceptional early childhood programs for children from 6 months to school age. The Early Learning Centre operates for 48 weeks each year, closing for 4 weeks during the December/January period.

The Role

An exciting opportunity awaits to join a vibrant and welcoming Early Learning Centre at one of Melbourne’s leading independent schools.

If you are a qualified, experienced Early Childhood Educator looking for an prospect to make a meaningful contribution in a full time, ongoing role, we would love to hear from you.

We are interested to hear from Educators who have the flexibility and a genuine interest to work across our Toddler Program.

Commencing in January 2027, the Early Childhood Educator will join a team of passionate, highly collaborative educators who are committed to providing high-quality early childhood education and inspiring young minds.

About You

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant Diploma-level qualification in Early Childhood Education,



or degree qualification in Early Childhood teaching.

You’re adaptable and enjoy working with children across all age groups, bringing an understanding of their developmental needs and creating a warm, engaging environment where every child feels supported.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in the Reggio Emilia approach to Early Childhood Education.
