Join a business-critical ERP transformation modernising the systems that underpin merchandising, pricing, promotions and retail operations.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to step into a fast-paced program and partner closely with a highly experienced Lead BA, working with business SMEs to capture requirements, tighten process design, and accelerate delivery.

About the program:
The organisation is delivering a multi-stream ERP transformation, with a strong focus on process redesign and improving time-to-value. The platform/technology direction is being optimised as the program progresses, so the team is looking for a BA who is comfortable operating in an environment where parts of the approach are still being refined.

The Merchandising Management stream sits at the core of retail operations and is currently in an intensive analysis and documentation phase.

Why you’ll love this role:

- Work on a major, executive-sponsored transformation at the core of a leading retail organisation, with genuine momentum and a clear roadmap of change.
- Hybrid working (Tuesdays & Fridays in office). Expect to embed more in-person in your first month to build relationships and get across the program quickly.
- 12-month fixed term contract with potential to extend.
- Be part of a supportive leadership group that listens to engagement feedback and invests in continuous improvement.
- Enjoy variety and ongoing project work beyond this initial stream as the broader transformation roadmap continues.

- Work in a collaborative project environment where you’ll be partnered closely with an experienced Lead BA who will invest in getting you up to speed.
- Contribute to modernising business-critical operations, including opportunities for practical automation and AI-enabled optimisation.
- Join a team with strong tenure and a culture of people staying and building long-term careers.

What you’ll be doing:

- Gather, analyse and document requirements across complex retail processes (including pricing, campaigns/promotions and merchandising operations).
- Partner with business SMEs and decision makers to map current state, define future state and agree process changes.
- Produce high-quality BA artefacts (business requirements, functional documentation, process maps and supporting business documents).
- Support the completion of remaining business documents across multiple functional modules.
- Translate operational needs into system functionality, ensuring dependencies are captured and work can progress smoothly across streams.
- Work with the Lead BA and delivery teams to shape work into clear user stories / delivery-ready documentation where required.
- Identify opportunities to systemise and optimise manual processes, including automation and practical use of emerging AI capabilities.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and implementation partners.

About you:
You’re a confident communicator who can sit with the business, cut through ambiguity and translate needs into outcomes the project team can build.
You’ll ideally bring:

- 3+ years’ Business Analysis experience on ERP or large-scale enterprise transformation programs (retail experience strongly preferred).
- Strong requirements elicitation, process mapping and documentation skills.
- Experience working in lean, fast-paced project environments and operating calmly under pressure.
- ERP program exposure across enterprise applications.
- Exposure to ERP configuration tools, DevOps, automation and/or AI-enabled process improvement is advantageous.
