We’re looking for a Duct Installer / Trades Assistant to join our team.

Alpine Refrigeration (Qld) Pty Ltd is a highly respected, locally owned and operated company specialising in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning services across both commercial and domestic sectors. Our work includes installations, maintenance and service across a wide range of sites and industries.

This role offers a variety of work across multiple job sites and will support our Project Installation team. We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well with others, and is committed to delivering high quality workmanship.

This is a permanent full-time position based in Toowoomba, however work may also be carried out throughout the company’s geographical area of operations. Australian work authorisation is required for this role.

The successful applicant:

· Will have a WHS Construction Card

· Will have a Current Queensland Drivers Licence (manual)

· Will possess a good work ethic and attention to detail

· Will be reliable and punctual

· Will enjoy working in a team environment but have the confidence and technical ability to work autonomously when required.





· Will have the ability to proactively and flexibly anticipate and resolve issues.

· Will have basic power and hand tool skills.

Desired skill set:

- Experience as a duct installer in the refrigeration and air conditioning field or TA in the building and construction industry.

- Experience in installation work and silver soldering of copper pipe would be a distinct advantage.

- Experience working alongside tradespeople in air conditioning, plumbing, roofing, or building fields is advantageous.

- Working at heights ticket would be an advantage.

- Plumbing or sheet metal skills or background would be an advantage
