Based out of our Dubbo office, you will work directly alongside experienced professionals handling a broad range of assignments—from large-scale agricultural land and government projects to commercial holdings, bank mortgage valuations, and court advisory matters.
What You Will Gain & Do
Data & Market Analysis: Interrogate sales databases, spatial/GIS mapping platforms, planning portals, and agricultural productivity data to analyze property market trends.
Technical & Legal Exposure: Learn how property law, government acquisitions, title searches, and planning frameworks operate in practice throughout regional NSW.
Report & Commercial Writing: Assist in synthesizing raw data into structured, authoritative reports for major corporate, institutional, and private clients.
Field Exposure & Shadowing:
Join local valuers on field inspections across the Central West to see how property data maps to real-world assets.
Workflow & Tech Skills: Develop advanced proficiency in MS Excel, property technology, automated workflows, and commercial report production.
What We Are Looking For
Current Tertiary Student or recent Graduate: Studying Property, Agribusiness, Commerce, Law, Finance, or a related discipline.
Data Curiosity & Literacy: A strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets (MS Excel), spatial tools, and online research portals.
Attention to Detail: Pride in producing accurate, well-formatted work with clear written communication.
Self-Motivation & Problem-Solving: Initiative to dig into technical problems and find logical solutions.
Practical Requirements: Australian Citizenship/Permanent Residency, a valid Australian Driver’s Licence, and availability to work in Dubbo between October and February (planned holiday/leave breaks fully accommodated).
Key Selection Criteria
Applicants will be evaluated on:
Academic Background & Drive: Enrolment in a relevant degree (Property, Rural Science, Law, Commerce, etc.) and motivation to learn.
Data & Technical Skill: Familiarity with MS Office (especially Excel), database navigation, or mapping tools.
Written Communication & Quality Control: Ability to write clearly and accurately with solid attention to detail.
Problem-Solving & Logic: Ability to analyze information and explain your findings clearly.
