We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join a successful WA construction business delivering modular housing projects across WA. This is a hands-on construction role focused on overseeing projects on site and ensuring homes are delivered safely, correctly, on time and to a high standard.
Working closely with the Projects and senior leadership team, you will travel to remote WA locations to oversee the delivery and installation of modular homes. Travel will generally be between 5-15 days per month, depending on the stage and requirements of each project.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Carpenter, Building Supervisor or experienced construction skilled looking to transition off the tools and into Project Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee modular housing projects from delivery through to completion.
- Travel to remote WA project sites and monitor construction progress.
- Coordinate trades, subcontractors, suppliers and site activities.
- Ensure construction is completed in accordance with plans, specifications and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve construction issues and coordinate rectification works.
- Monitor project timelines, workmanship and site requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and provide project updates.
- Ensure a strong focus on safety,
quality and project outcomes.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in construction, site supervision, project coordination or project management.
- A carpentry or building trade background would be highly regarded.
- Strong practical understanding of construction processes and building standards.
- Experience coordinating trades and subcontractors.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to identify issues and confidently manage problems on site.
- Willingness to travel approximately 5-15 days per month depending on project requirements.
- Current Australian driver's licence.
