About the role

The position involves the installation, servicing and fault-finding of security alarm systems, CCTV, access control and associated electronic security equipment. We are looking for someone who is practical, technically minded and has a good ability to diagnose and solve problems.

Key responsibilities
Installation of security alarm systems, CCTV, access control and associated electronic security equipment
Servicing of security systems and equipment
Fault-finding and diagnosis of security system issues
Running and terminating cables
Working independently and as part of a team

About you
A positive general understanding of computers, IT and networking
Valuable fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Experience with cabling, including running and terminating cables




Experience installing electrical or electronic equipment
Confidence using hand and power tools
Valuable communication and customer service skills
A current driver's licence
A willingness to learn and develop skills in electronic security systems
Previous experience with security alarms, CCTV or access control is advantageous but not essential
