Sales Consultant – Blinds, Curtains & Window Furnishings

Inner West | Eastern Suburbs | Lower North Shore

We are an established Sydney window furnishings company with over 50 years in the industry, specialising in custom-made blinds, curtains, shutters, awnings and motorised solutions.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a confident and motivated Sales Consultant to join our team and look after customers across Sydney’s Inner West, Eastern Suburbs and Lower North Shore.

The Role

This is an on-road sales role, attending pre-booked appointments with customers in their homes.

Your responsibilities will include:
Attending qualified sales appointments provided by our office
Conducting in-home consultations
Measuring windows accurately
Helping customers choose the right blinds, curtains and window furnishing solutions
Providing advice on fabrics, colours, styles and motorisation
Preparing and presenting quotations
Following up quotes and converting opportunities into sales
Maintaining accurate measurements, specifications and customer notes
Working closely with our office, check measure and installation teams
Building strong relationships with customers and providing a high level of service

About You

We are looking for someone who:




Has strong sales and communication skills
Is confident meeting customers in their homes
Is personable, professional and well presented
Enjoys selling and is comfortable closing sales
Is organised and able to manage appointments and follow-ups independently
Has valuable attention to detail
Is comfortable taking measurements
Holds a current NSW driver’s licence

Previous experience in blinds, curtains or window furnishings would be highly regarded, but is not essential.

Experience in home improvements, interiors, flooring, kitchens, furniture, building products or other in-home sales would also be well suited to this role.
