Firemex Pty Ltd is a leading manufacturer of fire doors and solid core doors located in Salisbury. We have been supplying the building industry for over 30 years. We manufacture, supply and install doors at job locations throughout Queensland, as well as interstate and overseas.

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager or cadet in training to co-ordinate the supply and installation of doors and frames.

Projects will include shopping centres, residential developments, schools, aged care facilities, commercial buildings.

Key duties for this role:
Order door frames and associated materials required for project
Prepare job sheet for door manufacture and co-ordinate lead times with Factory Manager
Organise delivery to site and installation of doors with our Install Co-ordinator
Ensure job stays on track within client's timeframes
Communicate with client to keep them up to date regarding the status of job
Prepare job file for invoicing or part claims including variations in a timely manner




Ensure all documentation is maintained in job files and computer programs
Ability to read construction drawings and interpret into take offs
Provide accurate estimation of tenders and quotes

The successful applicant will possess the following:
Relevant experience in a similar position or experience in the construction industry will be an advantage
High level of organisational and time management skills as you will have several projects to co-ordinate at the same time
Very high attention to detail and accuracy
Qualified written and verbal communication
Robust negotiating skills
Robust computer skills - Microsoft Excel is ESSENTIAL
Experience using Simpro will be an advantage

Salary offered will be based on strength of skills and experience. Uniforms will be supplied.
