Responsibilities:
Support senior mechanical engineers on pipeline and facility design projects, focusing on layout, mechanical systems, and equipment integration
Assist in drafting and modifying mechanical drawings and technical documents using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
Help prepare engineering reports, material take-offs, cost estimates, and basic technical calculations
Conduct research on regulatory requirements, codes, and standards related to mechanical systems in oil and gas applications
Participate in field site visits, gathering data for design validation and as-built updates
Contribute to the development of construction documents, such as equipment specifications, installation drawings, and permit support packages
Collaborate with the project team to maintain schedule, quality, and project documentation standards

Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
Strong interest in oil and gas facility/pipeline design and mechanical systems
Familiarity or hands-on experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation preferred
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
