This role covers smart wiring, home and building automation, and high-quality electrical installations across new residential and commercial builds. Automation experience is welcome but not essential — we provide full training and support for anyone keen to develop in this space. What you'll walk away with is a specialist skill set that puts you well ahead of the field.
Key responsibilities
Install, test and maintain electrical systems across new build residential and commercial projects, including smart wiring and automation
Integrate structured cabling for lighting, security, data and automation
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions promptly
Consult with clients to tailor automation systems to their specific requirements
Maintain current knowledge of developments in automation technology
Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations and industry best practice on all projects
About you
Electrical trade qualification and current WA electrician's licence
Valid WA driver's licence
Police clearance (or willingness to obtain)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Solid communication skills for client-facing work
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Desirable: Experience with smart wiring
Desirable: Home or building automation experience, particularly Control4
Desirable: ACMA cabler / communications licence
Desirable: Security installer's licence
