We’re looking for a passionate and reliable Commis Chef to join the kitchen team at Rosalie House.

We’re a small, close-knit kitchen creating a Mediterranean-influenced menu that celebrates fresh, local produce and the relaxed country setting of our vineyard. Alongside our à la carte dining, we host weddings, private functions and special events, so no two services are quite the same.

This role would suit a chef who enjoys working as part of a small team, takes pride in their work and is looking to continue developing their skills in a professional kitchen.

You’ll be expected to:
Take responsibility for your own section and ensure it is organised and service-ready
Be effective and confident with preparation
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and kitchen cleanliness




Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team during busy service
Assist with à la carte service, weddings, private functions and events
Follow recipes and kitchen procedures while contributing positively to the team
Stay calm, organised and hands-on when the kitchen gets busy

We’re looking for someone who is hard-working, reliable, organised and genuinely enjoys being part of a team. Experience in a busy kitchen is preferred, but attitude, willingness to learn and the ability to take responsibility are just as significant.
