Whitty Engineering is growing, and we’re looking for experienced Fitters & Machinists who want solid work, diverse projects, and a team that values craftsmanship. What you’ll do

You’ll work across manual and CNC machining, assembly and repair work.



You’ll read and interpret drawings, machine components to spec, check quality, and support apprentices and trade assistants. You’ll work with a wide range of metals and be part of a team that genuinely cares about workmanship.

What you’ll bring
Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade
3–5+ years experience in machining/fitting
Problem-solving ability
Ability to read drawings and work to tight tolerances
A safety-first mindset
A positive, practical, team-focused attitude
