We’re looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Corporate Tax team in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse client base and develop your career in a supportive, collaborative environment.
As part of our Corporate Tax team, you’ll be involved in all aspects of corporate income tax compliance and advisory. You’ll work with a broad range of clients, including large multinationals, listed companies and privately owned businesses, giving you exposure to complex tax matters and the chance to hone your skills for a long‑term career in tax.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare income tax returns for corporate entities
Research tax issues and draft technical advice and papers
Prepare tax effect accounting work papers
Deliver in-house tax training sessions
Build a strong understanding of key tax concepts, including:
Assessable Income, Allowable Deductions, Capital Allowances
Fringe Perks Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Loss Provisions
Transfer Pricing, Withholding Tax, Tax Effect Accounting
Develop knowledge in advanced areas such as:
Tax Consolidation, Tax Structuring, Due Diligence, Foreign Income
About you
You’re a motivated tax professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for problem‑solving. You thrive in a collaborative setting but can also work independently to deliver high‑quality outcomes. With strong communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning, you’re ready to take on complex tax challenges and contribute to the success of our clients.
Essential Qualifications
Degree in Business, Commerce or Finance with an Accounting major
2–3 years’ experience in a similar role
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
Desirable Qualifications
Double degree in Business/Commerce/Finance/Law with an Accounting major
Commencement or near completion of CA or equivalent
